Call for Papers

Please join us for the 50th annual conference of the Mid-Continent Regional Science Association to be held at the Madison Concourse Hotel in Madison, Wisconsin. The program committee welcomes papers on a wide range of topics relating to applied economics, planning, geography, business, public administration, sociology, and political science.

Presentation Proposals: Participants are encouraged to organize a session in an area of interest. Those authors wishing to present a paper should submit an abstract online here: Click this Link.

Conference Registration: There are two ways to register for the MCRSA conference. You can download a registration form and pay by check, or you can pay electronically. Links to both are found on the MCRSA Conference Registration page.

Hotel Information: The Madison Concourse Hotel <> is located at 1 West Dayton Street, Madison, Wisconsin, USA, 53703, Res: 1-800-356-8293. The Concourse is conveniently located near State Street, the State Capitol, University of Wisconsin campus, Monona Terrace Convention Center, Alliant Energy Center and just 5 miles from Dane County Regional Airport, offering several non-stop flights into Madison, Wisconsin. The conference lodging rate is $169/night single and double. To receive this rate, reservations must be made by May 6, 2019. The group rate will be available from three days prior to the conference until three days after, pending availability. Self-parking is $15/night. Participants should contact the hotel directly and indicate participation in the MCRSA conference.
